Paul was bottle-fed folk music during the late 60's and early 70's in the "Golden Age" of folk music in Australia. His parents made the annual pilgrimage to the Hill End Folk Festival each Christmas to see the likes of Declan Affley, Warren Fahey, Bernard Bolan & Dave De Hugard perform their craft alongside many others. Much of the band's music is a recollection of those early formative days, with the addition of new compositions by Paul himself.
Plays: Irish bouzouki, fiddle, bodhran, low-D whistle, tenor ukelele, Celtic banjo & vocals.
Sharon met Paul in mid-2000 and has been exposed to his passion for over 2 decades. On completion of her PhD studies in 2017, she vowed to learn the bodhran, then set to learning music and playing the tin whistle. Somewhat of an indefatigable enigma, Sharon has fulfilled those vows and now performs alongside Paul in the duo. Her passion for the folk genre grows on a daily basis, as does her skill on the low-D Irish Whistle.
Plays: Bodhran, low-D whistle & tin whistle.
